Job Title: Technical Support


Job Description


Objective: Support the Kaishan USA product by providing phone support, inhouse/on-site support, and training for distributor technicians.


Essential Functions: Provide daily support by answering technical calls, providing technical training, assisting in removal/installation of parts necessary to support production and/or distributor orders, evaluate/process warranty claims, and travel to end user locations for on-site diagnosis/repair.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Required Education and Experience

Required Skills

  1. Bilingual English & Spanish is desired.
  2. Use hand tools and multimeter.
  3. Lift heavy items
  4. Reasoning skills for difficult situations
  5. Problem solving technical mechanical & electrical issues.
  6. Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  7. Works well under pressure
  8. Organized and goal oriented.
  9. Team player
  10. Self-guided
  11. Effective communication

Required Experience

  1. 5 years or more in compressed air or equivalent industry
  2. Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  3. No travel restrictions


  1. 55% Technical support calls
  2. 20% Warranty processing
  3. 10% Training
  4. 5% Travel
  5. 5% Administrative reports & document updating
  6. 5% Hands on assistance (technical service work)
